DiCor Engineering
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This policy covers DiCor Engineering’s corrugator website and enquiries made through it. It does not describe another website’s practices, even if that website uses the DiCor name.
Information we use and why
- Enquiries: your name, email address, subject and message help us answer your request, discuss compatibility and prepare a quote. Company and telephone number are optional. An enquiry started from a listing includes the selected item in the form so you can review it before sending.
- Website delivery and security: our hosting, content and email providers process connection information such as IP address, request time, requested URL and browser information to deliver content, prevent abuse and diagnose problems. Operational logs may contain this information.
- Spam protection: our contact service verifies a short-lived ALTCHA challenge. Its rate-limit store uses a keyed hash of the IP address and temporary counters, not the raw address or message. This is security processing, not anonymous data or an advertising profile.
- Preferences: limited browser storage remembers the cookie notice and, on a testing version, preview access. See the Cookie Policy.
We do not request payment information, government identification, sensitive personal records or precise location through this website. Please do not put those details, passwords or confidential third-party information in your message. The site does not offer customer accounts or online checkout.
Your choices at collection
Sending an enquiry asks us to use the information you provide to respond and follow up about that enquiry. It does not sign you up for a marketing list. You can leave optional fields blank or contact us directly by email or telephone. We do not save form drafts in browser storage.
Who receives information
Information is available to the DiCor personnel handling the request and service providers needed to operate the website and deliver email. These include Amazon Web Services for hosting, content delivery and the contact service, the hosting infrastructure behind our Strapi content system, and our business email provider. A request for an image or other content also sends connection information to the server delivering it.
We may disclose information where required by law or reasonably needed to protect legal rights or investigate abuse. This website does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or use advertising pixels, visitor analytics or session-replay tools.
Where information is processed
Our contact service is hosted in AWS’s Canada Central region. Content delivery, email and provider support may involve processing outside your province or country, including the United States, where different laws and lawful government access may apply. Hosting the contact service in Canada does not mean every copy of an enquiry stays in Canada. Contact us for information about our service providers and cross-border handling.
Retention and safeguards
Enquiries are delivered to our business email, not saved as website accounts. Retention depends on the request, any resulting business relationship, recordkeeping obligations and legal holds. Information should not be kept after those purposes end; contact us to request deletion or ask about the retention applicable to your enquiry. There is no automatic mailbox deletion timer in the website.
Contact challenge records expire after five minutes; rate-limit records are marked for expiry within twenty minutes. Expired records may remain temporarily while the database completes its deletion process. Contact-service diagnostic logs are configured for fourteen-day retention and the application does not log message bodies or contact fields.
We use HTTPS, restricted service access, input limits and spam protection. No online transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Please tell us if you suspect a privacy or security issue.
Access, correction, deletion and complaints
You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, request deletion, withdraw consent for further optional use, or raise a concern. Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may also have portability, restriction, objection or appeal rights. Some business or legal records may have to be retained. Withdrawing information needed for an enquiry can limit our ability to answer it.
Use the contact details below, with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorised agent’s authority; please do not send identification documents unless we arrange a suitable method. We will respond within the applicable legal time limit and explain any lawful refusal. You can ask us to review a decision and complain to the relevant privacy regulator, including the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Browser signals and children
We do not track visitors across unrelated websites or run advertising or analytics trackers, whether or not your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Those signals do not disable essential delivery or anti-abuse processing. There is no sale or advertising sharing to opt out of on this website.
This is an industrial business website, not a service directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information so we can address it.
Changes and contact
We will post revisions here with an updated date. If a new use requires consent, we will seek it before starting that use; continued browsing is not consent to new optional tracking.
